MY GOD.
I was super intense today, watching only two matches, but it was from about 2pm to a staggering 9pm.

I always thought Ivo Karlovic was alright, but I realized today that if it wasn't for his serve, he'd be fairly weak when it comes to tennis. Still, his serve is fantastic, being that he's 6'10, you'd expect that.

I mean, just look at him!

Anyway, I also watched the Cilic - Haas match with such intensity that I nearly cried. In fact, yes, a few tears slipped.
Cilic played fantastic in the first 20 minutes or so and got a 2-0 lead, but then Haas suddenly gets a surge of inspiration and Cilic chokes.
In the back of my head, I really thought that Cilic was gonna go, since he was down 2 sets. BUT NOOO, he bounces back and evens the sets!
I was so ready to celebrate his win since Haas looked like he was about to collapse, but it ended in 6-6.
UGH.
SO PISSED.
I was yelling and screaming for a few hours, I think I scared my fever off.
I just thought Cilic deserved this match so much. I mean, the match against Querrey, he really gave it SO MUCH whilst Haas just got through cos his opponent had an injury. I mean, I'm not blaming Haas, but I just think Cilic deserves this match.
Tie break tomorrow, praying that a miracle and decent surge of energy jumps out.
COME ON CILIC!

Hmmmmmmmm...

I've noticed a few things about the tennis players I've watched.

Top: Sam Querrey
Bottom: Luke Skywalker

Am I the only one who finds them similar?!?

Also:

MICHAEL JACKSON DIED?!

To anybody who was having a conversation with me before,
I AM SO SORRY.
Kinda fell off the map a bit, but I stumbled back on LiveJournal and it offered to log me in, so I thought why not?

Not that anybody will bother reading, but a lot has happened since, what, last year?
For once, I'm doing my GCSEs now. Fun fun, right? I think so anyways.
With GCSEs comes work experience, obviously. I was dreaming big and wanting to go to Central London, but I ended up working in a church with the elderly. Not as bad as it could be, since the hours are shorter than school, but it's kinda depressing since all these people are so sweet, but they're weighed down by time and age. Still, it's the spirit that counts, right?

At the moment, I'm concentrating heavily on Wimbledon. I mean, it's hot guys in shorts! And sweating!
WHOO
I gotta say, I'm keeping my eyes on a lot of my 'favourites'. My absolute, James Blake, left early, which was upsetting, but A-Rod and Gilles Simon, also my favourites, are still going strong. There's lots of bright young talent too. Cilic, for one, is fantastic and is currently my focus. Sam Querrey and Andrey Golubev are fantastic, but they're both out. D:
I'm so desperate to know when Cilic's next game is, but the Wimbledon site is so crap, I can't find out. I'll check early tomorrow. (:

Okay, let me give you a little info on my school.

IT WILL SUCK THE LIFE OUT OF YOU!

I wouldn't say I was too confident, but I wouldn't say I'm underconfident, y'know? But whenever I step into that school, or even THINK about stepping into that school, I feel like someone's holding a gun to my head and forcing me to learn.

It hit me this morning. I was thinking about my clothes, and what people were gonna say since I didn't buy a new blazer, and if I should get a new pencilcase and BLAH, in midthought, my head exploded.

But yeah, other than that, not too many complaints. Just wondering why I'm so affected by three or so buildings. They're not even that big.

Onto other topics, I've been ill over the past few days, and I've realized how much my mother's nice to me. She's even agreed to ask the landlord about getting a dog! I doubt he'll say yes, but I'm trying to be more optimistic about life, see.

Oh yeah, yesterday we went out to eat, and then we had a little stroll (this was me, mum and two friends). Mum and the two friends were on about God knows what, and I was just standing there, looking at Trafalgar Square. This kind of old guy was standing next to me, and after a while, I smiled at him. I guess that was his que to say hi. Anyway, we got to talking and he was from Egypt (I'm really terrible, I've forgotten his name! But still) and lived in England since 1993. He was really interesting, but according to him, he was alone. Like, in life. So that got me to thinking: what's it like being alone? Most of the times, I'm optionally alone since I'm a bit like that, but I'd hate to be alone for all of my life.

But that was about all.

P.S: Slipknot's new song isn't too bad. Corey sounds better when he's singing, anyways.

Whyyy, Jimmy, WHY?!

Okay, so I just finished watching the Olympic ceremony, and when the London 2012 bit came on, I was like "Oh... okay..." and then Leona Lewis came on! That was okay, but then we got JIMMY PAGE.

And guess what?

Leona Lewis + Jimmy Page = Whole Lotta Love.

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!

That song was not only killed, it was butchered and skinned to eat.

IMO, anyway. Leona has a lovely voice, but it's a horrifying version.

Where do you spend most of your time on the web?

Fufufu.
IMDb. (: Movie buffs 'r' us.
With a few idiots. XD
Oh yeah, and Explosm, because their comics are epic. =D
Yi!
Okay, so as many might know, it's the summer holidays, but unfortunately, it's drawing to a close! D=

Another unfortunate thing is the fact that I seem to be completely out of sync. I sleep at 5am, get up at 3pm, eat, drink, watch TV, be lazy, write, then we go back into night-time, and uh-oh, I'M NOT SLEEPING

I can't do this until the 3rd September! So I've decided to do a complete all nighter (24 hours no sleep) and when I feel like I'm about to sleep, I shall drink Red Bull! Genius, I know. God, 14 year olds shouldn't do this.

On the more nicer hand, I've learnt to do great stuff on Photoshop! (:
My icons are kind of mediocre, but they're better than the ones I used to make. Hehe.

So that's my life.

Oh yeah, Britain's going through a recession. That's bad, right?

GO TO HELL COMMIE CHINKLAND

So anyway, that really got me thinking, do a lot of people really think that? Will China always be counted as that "evil communist country" everyone loves to hate? The Olympics were meant to inspire, but it seems like more people are hating. I don't agree with some of the things China does, but at the same time, I don't want to hear people utter "chinks" like it's part of their daily routine.

Maybe it's just how things are going to be, but it's sad. Really sad.

If you could pick any TV show that has been off the air to come back for one more season, which show would you pick and why?

SPOILERS ENSUE!
Although a lot of people probably have already seen this. x_x

Okay, so I watched The Mummy: TOTDE (let's call it that for now) and I wasn't really expecting much. Of course, I liked the first two, but with so much change (in China instead of Egypt, Mario Bello instead of Rachel) I felt that it wasn't really a Mummy movie. Still, to be a movie buff, I must watch all kinds of movies, so voila!

Since I don't want to spoil the whole thing by telling you the entire plot, I shall make a very handy list of what I think is good and bad in the film.

The Good

The first thing you notice is probably the amazing CGI, and there's a lot of it. We have people on fire, terracotta horses coming to life, avalanches, yetis (I'll get to that in a moment), people conjuring up fire and people turning into mud. If you're into that kind of stuff, I suggest you take a look at this.

The Bad

There are many things wrong in this film.

Whilst all of the characters were, let's say, standable, Mario Bello as Evie was very
awkward. I have nothing against the woman, but her accent slipped at times, and the chemistry just... wasn't there, but to be fair, she wasn't the only one out of place. Her "son", Alex O'Connell (Luke Ford) seemed like a complete waste of character. Unfortunately, I had to endure him and his crappy Chinese for half an hour.

Speaking of Chinese, may I just ask why the hell a YETI was thrown in? Oh, a better question: why did Emperor Han turn into sasquatch?
Yes, I'm serious.
He turned into a furry, orange thing that thrashed around like it had fleas. Admittedly it was done very well (heads up for CGI), but never, ever have I heard of Big Foot crossing continents to China. Of course, this means that America totally ripped off the idea of Big Foot from Emperor Han. Damn.

The Ugly

Overall, I'd give this a 5/10.
No, I wouldn't watch it again, not even for free. It was boring, stupid, UNFUNNY and it made me want to strangle myself with a toothpick. Possible? No. That's how bored I was: I was thinking of impossible ways to kill myself.

Today was special for me...

Why was it special, I hear the invisible people reading this ask? Well, I got my S.A.T results today and hurrah, I got three level 7s! So basically, I got a level 7 in maths, english and science, which is strange since I thought I'd fail maths badly.

But the thing is, I only tried my best because my parents promised me a dog if I got at least two level 7s (yes, I sound unusually spoilt at the moment. DON'T JUDGE ME) but my mother refuses to acknowledge she said that. So... I tried hard on a test that means about as much as a chicken's backside and I get... you guessed it, zilch. Well, not technically. £100 is alright, right? Ah well.

So now it's 2am, I've started a blog and I'm complaining to invisible people. My life is awesome. =D
